Galxe

The co-founders of Galxe are Harry Zhang and Charles Wayn. Harry Zhang is the co-founder and project lead at Galxe. He was previously the COO and co-founder of Lino Network, as well as the co-founder of DLive.tv. Charles Wayn is the co-founder and strategy lead of Galxe. He was the co-founder and CEO of DLive.tv before it merged with BitTorrent in 2019, after which he became the VP of Interactive Entertainment at BitTorrent.

The GAL token is the native cryptocurrency of the Galxe network. It is used for governance, paying for application module fees, curating digital credentials, and accessing the Credential Oracle Engine and Credential API. The total supply of GAL tokens is 200,000,000, with the current circulating supply at 35,161,333.00 GAL. The GAL token is available as both an ERC-20 and BEP-20 token, secured by the Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain blockchains, respectively.

Galxe is unique in providing a public and collaborative credential data network for Web3 developers. Unlike the current fractured landscape where credentials are stored in closed databases controlled by various entities, Galxe aims to establish a public, collaborative data network that is available to all Web3 developers. Galxe provides the infrastructure for community members to create and contribute digital credentials, and curators are rewarded when these credentials are used in Galxe's Application Modules, Credential Oracle Engine, and Credential API.
